4 tips to grow your business and gain loyalty with your clients and employees by giving back!

Do you have a giving back element to your business? If you don't or if you want to do it better then, this is for you!

Did you know that 87% of consumers will switch from one brand to another if that brand gives back to a good cause?

93% of Americans want their employer to give them opportunities to become involved in social issues?

Watch the video to go deeper. Read below if you want a quick summary.

Here are four tips that you should be focusing on when you're creating this giving back strategy for your business?

  1. Who is your target audience? What matters to them? We know that Millennials strongly support businesses that give back. You need to figure out what's important to them. Create a program that really draws them in.

  2. What are you going to name your business, program, and how are you tying that into your mission? An example is this company called, Headbands of Hope. Every headband that they sell, they donate one to a child who has cancer to give them hope.

  3. How are you going to promote that to your target audience?

  4. How are you going to build that community around that's going to get engaged with your mission that's going to help them reach their goals while they're helping you reach yours?

Here’s the fun part. Let's talk about different branded items that you can do to help you with this mission. When you’re marketing to your target audience, you want to do something that stands out and gets them engaged.

Shoelaces: Wrap them around the marketing card. Mail it out or you give it out to participants if you're doing a booth at an event. Click on the image below to order yours.

Socksare also cool ones you can use for your business. Click on the image below to order yours.

Water bottles: People use water bottles every day. This style of water bottle is very popular and you can do a cool imprint on it. Do one that has the hot-cold feature so that their water stays cold longer. Click on the image below to order yours.

A cooling towel. Just add water, snap it, and it cools down the water really fast. Click on the image below to order yours.

Power bank, not the little one that only charges your phone one time. When you're going out and you're doing these activities, you need something that keeps charging your phone over and over and over. That's a great item to put your branding. Click on the image below to order yours.

Pop socket, it's a little round phone holder you see on the back of phones everywhere. It pops up and down. The back of the phone is a great place for marketing your business and for an inspiring message. Click on the image below to order yours.

Lens kit has different lenses that you can clip to your phone to take pictures. Click on the image below to order yours.

Apparel: Imprinted with your branding and an inspiring message. There’s one that I got from one of the walks I did that I love (watch the video to see it). It says "Know no boundaries" and there’s a Reebok logo underneath it. At the back of it says the event. Notice that the Reebok logo isn’t the focus.

If it's a shorter walk, do an item like a fanny pack that holds your water bottleClick on the image below to order yours.

When you're doing a longer event. Do a backpack that has some cushion so it’s more comfortable. There are a few thousand people who do the breast cancer walk. Put your logo on backpacks. While walking, people will see it. Putting an inspirational message gets you more exposure too. Click on the image below to order yours.

ButtonsVery popular for walks. The imprint can be a fun message like I showed in this video. Or it can show the event or cause that you’re doing. Click on the image below to order yours.

Sunglasses: When they're out there in the sun, they will be needing those sunglasses. That would be great to give out for the causes. Click on the image below to order yours.
